Why might someone engage in Hypnotherapy?
A person might engage in hypnotherapy to uncover belief systems and conditioning that are limiting and keeping them stuck. Clients are often going through a difficult time in their lives and are seeking a healing modality that will target specific emotional and behavioural patterns, so they can move forward feeling confident, empowered, and enthusiastic about their future. However – Hypnotherapy is also accessed by successful professionals wanting to breach their current ceilings. Wanting to expand and grow – and need an avenue to embrace change; Rewire, Renew and Reconnect. Dominique has studied Rapid Transformational Therapy, alongside traditional hypnosis: which is a highly successful combination of Hypnotherapy, NLP, Psychotherapy & CBT, and RTT is based in neural science.

Are online sessions as effective as face-to-face?
Online sessions are conducted over zoom and are equally as effective as face-to-face sessions. Zoom is a free platform and is very easy to use. Some people actually prefer online sessions as you don’t need to travel and can relax in the comfort of your own home.

How Long Does It Take?
A session is usually 90 minutes, but I always recommend you give yourself a 2-hour block of time, so we don’t need to rush.

What does it feel like?
The experience feels different for everyone. Some people feel a floating sensation, some people feel sleepy, but most people feel relaxed, calm and at ease; both physically and mentally. What’s most important is to know that how you feel isn’t an indicator of how effective it is. Regardless of what it feels like – you will be more open to suggestions, and it will be working.

Can Hypnotherapy remove trauma, karmic cycles and raise vibrational frequency?
Yes absolutely! Hypnotherapy will support your spiritual healing journey, law of attraction and energetic frequency. Your hypnosis recording will become a part of your healing practice and allow you to rebirth your new beginnings.

Will I be under your power?
No. You are in charge. You cannot be made to do anything against your will. You are awake and alert, and aware of everything that is happening throughout the session.

What if I can’t be hypnotised?
You can. Everyone can. As long as you are willing to enter hypnosis, you will. It’s an easy enjoyable and thoroughly relaxing process.

What if I go back to scenes that are painful or scary?
If you go back to scenes that are traumatic in any way, it’s important to remember that you are not re-living that scene, you are simply reviewing it and are totally safe. I will support you and create a safe space for you to express your emotions, so you can release old wounds and start your healing journey.
What if I uncover something I don’t want share?
If you uncover something that you don’t wish to share, that is totally fine. I will still be able to help you resolve it as long as you can tell me how the scene is affecting you. For instance: How it’s making you feel. You are not re-living your experiences but instead are bearing witness to them.

How many sessions do I need?
The number of sessions depends on your unique situation. Hypnotherapy is a very powerful technique so most issues can be resolved in as little as one to three sessions. Deeper or more complex issues may require additional sessions.

When will I start to see changes?
There are three types of change, however – every person is different.
Immediate: You feel a massive sheft straight away. You feel a change in your physiology, thoughts and behaviours right in the session.
Incremental: You see consistent shifts every day, or over time.
Retrospective: You don’t see shifts right away and then one day you suddenly look back and see all of the things that are different in your life.

Are our sessions confidential?
Absolutely. All sessions are completely confidential. I would never share any personal information without your consent.

Why is the Recording needed?
Just like maintaining your physical body after you have reached a fitness level – you need to continue to reprogram, reboot and realign your Unconscious mind body – until you have embedded and informed a new belief. This takes a minimum of 21 days.

What can I expect from listening to the Recording?
Remember what I said about daily hypnosis – like driving and not remembering how to get there? Hypnosis is a natural phenomenon, however we rarely go into a hypnotic state until the activity or belief we are engaging in becomes familiar. When driving somewhere new, we tend to be highly alert and paying attention to signs and landmarks, but as the route becomes familiar – our subconscious tends to take over, so that we can continue to process our more immediate thoughts and needs.
Therefore the first 21 days is familiarising your mind-body to the new neural-pathway (road map), with the intention to allow our subconscious take over once our new belief has been imbedded.
You will be alert to (the order may vary depending on individuals):

Time limit will be on your mind. How long will it take?

All the words, and phrases will be new. You will be listening to seek understanding.

You will want to challenge what you are hearing. Be mindful that this is your ego.

You will then start to notice background noise and vocal changes, and breathing patterns.

Finally you will remember the beginning of your personalised recording, but throughout the hypnosis you will go into auto-pilot and you will not consciously remember how you got to the end of the recording, or the details that got you there. THIS IS WHERE THE MAGIC HAPPENS! This is where you need to get to.
